60 years of what?

I've been studying jewish mysticism for quite some time, simply fascinating and enlightening. I've been studying assorted historical figures as well, among them, a few Israelis, motivating people. However, everytime a dig deeper into the depths of politics, I realize that is a very filthy business. All governments are corrupt, no exception, and that's one of the most disturbing realization a person can have, given that those bastards are the ones who define the course of history and therefore, us, as part of that history.
Violence, death, suffering, are basically the common factors among all the governments, some worse than others, but in general, all of them are hate promoters in some way. This time, some statistics caught my attention and really made me evaluate my love/repulsion relationship with Israel and its people. I do believe that they're courageous people, inteligent, capable, strong and determined, they have endured immense suffering along the way and there they are, stoic. However, back to politics, it's not the people per se, it is The Establishmnt, that more often than not, doesn't reflect the real feeling coming from the people of a given country or community.
The Arabs, great people, origin of the civilization, people with remarkable culture and history. But, politics again, distorting all in front of it and of course, good and noble people fall as well.
I know, all this bla, bla, bla maybe doesn't make a lot of sense. My point is, to make this blog a little less boring, that Israel is celebrating 60 years of being a "nation", good for them, but how can someone celebrate such a thing if that's the exact time Palestinians have been removed, by force, from its land? Isn't it ironic? And all based in a "Sacred Scriptures" that all of us know, aren't that sacred after all.
I really respect jews, at least its culture and mysticism, but it's politics, supported by USA, by the way, I really can't stand it, even though all the things they keep saying in order to justify it.
Sorry, I'll stay by this side, the love side, the sympathy side, the compassion side, in other words: "The non-establishment side". I'll remain sudying jewish mysticism, praising its accomplishments as a culture, its intelligence, but never, never, ever, ever, supporting the political procedure they're implementing to justify the terrible mistakes they've been doing all these long 60 years.
Take a look at this statistics and think about what I've just said.

1- 119 Israeli children have been killed by Palestinians and 982 Palestinian children have been killed by Israelis since September 29, 2000.
2- 1,044 Israelis and at least 4,719 Palestinian have been killed since September 29, 2000.
3- 6,845 Israelis and 32,213 Palestinians have been injured since September 29, 2000.
4- During Fiscal Year 2007, the U.S. gave more than $6.8 millions per day to Israel and $0.3 million per day to the Palestinians.
5- Israel has been targeted by at least 65 UN resolutions and the Palestinians have been targeted by none.
6- 1 Israeli is being held prisoner by Palestinians, while 10,756 Palestinians are currently imprisoned by Israel.
7- 0 Israeli homes have been demolished by Palestinians and 18,147 Palestinians homes have been demolished by Israel since 1967.
8- The Israeli unemployment rate is 9%, while the Palestinian unemployment is estimated at 40%.
9- Israel currently has 223 Jewish-only settlements and "outposts" built on confiscated Palestinian land. Palestinians do not have any settlement on Israeli land.

Am I wrong?
